Lockable helm storage

I am a new owner of a 2013 FD226 REF, I have two questions.
Is there a lockable latch available for the helm storage space.
Will the front deck rail be strong enough for a clamp on rod holder and if so, is there a recommended dealer for the clamp.

Hey jlw...here's the response from Hurricane Support:Sorry, but we don’t have a lockable latch for the helm storage door. The bow rail should be able to add a clamp on rod holder — we recommend looking aftermarket like overtons.com or westmarine.com.

I went to Lowes and picked up two 1/4" U bolts with a 1 & 1/4 span, added 4 wing nuts and fastened the rod holder to the front deck rail... Works fine and is portable and cost about 6 bucks...
