What to clean with?

What works best for cleaning the non-skid surfaces inside the hurricane boats? Mine has no carpet, which I like, but after only 5 outings, I cannot quite get the non-skid surfaces really clean. Should I use a chemical or other cleaning product? I read somewhere that the Mr Clean magic sponges work. Any input would be great.

I just use straight bleach in a spray bottle. Then rinse with clean water. I barely have to even touch spots with a brush or sponge.

Good point rd...then touch up with the magic sponges...they really do work well. And now generic ones available at our dollar store!

My swim platform has an even more aggressive non-skid surface than the deck and there's two deck cleaner products I've used with excellent results. I pour some on the deck/swim platform and use a deck scrub brush to work it into the surface and then rinse with water. Here's links to the products:The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is good for removing black streaks.Hope this helps!2012 SD237 I/O Mercruiser 5.0L MPI ECT/ Bravo 32012 Load Rite Elite Tandem axle trailer

I've never used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser simply because a friend used it to clean some marks on the seats of his boat and the result was the seats were ruined. They are magic, but still contain a mild abrasive so be careful using them on certain surfaces. I'd consider it on the floors because of their flat finish/surface but would avoid them on shiny surfaces/hull area------------------------------------------------------------------------------2010 Hurricane SS 188 OB

Right on, Nelson...those erasers are not made for vinyl...only non-skid decks.
