Setting bunkers for trailer and lift

Just bought 2013 Sundeck Sport 20' OB with 140 hp. Does anyone know how to set up the bunkers for best loading on a lift which I assume would be the same for a trailer. I believe mine are set way too narrow.

I just bought a lift for mine and have the same question. Doesn't someone on here have a lift that could answer or maybe capt. Steve could find out??

well i just bought a SS188 and the bunkers were about 3 inch to low. the bunkers themselves could not go up that high so you lower the winch by loosening the 2 u brackets and tapping it down a bit which will drop the height the bow sits up.
that left about an inch on the bunker. then then you get a 2x4 and put between the bunker and use the trailer as leverage. there is a single bolt that you loosen that will raise the bunker to the boat. Tighten. then the bunker can also be adjusted to swivel a bit to hug the V of the hull.
at least that is what I watched while the marina guys did it
I did have to adjust the left side after I got home

left out that there are 2 posts per bunker so put pressure on the front and back of the bunker for best fit

@donmat ... your lift manufacturer would really be the best source of info on this. I bet they've got someone who has test every single scenario.

The boat manufacturer ie. Hurricane should have this information. They should know where the main strength of the hull is located. I contacted Hurricane but got no response. Every other boat I have had has furnished the info. I really makes a difference, especially in trailering when the bumping forces could really strain a hull if the bunkers are not properly placed. Does anyone know anyone at Hurricane that might provide the information?

@1pointofview @t4turner @donmat ... guys...finally tracked down this info. See attached. One document contains boat specs. Other one is a template you plug those numbers into. Hope they help.
