Hey tone...checking with Jeremy on this, just to be sure.

Ski locker does have a drain (or should) as my 2010 SS188 has one at the back that drains into the bilge area (at the very end towards the back). Perhaps its blocked?------------------------------------------------------------------------------2010 Hurricane SS 188 OB

See attached...should have a 1" drain hole in floor of locker as shown. Like Nelson said, I'd check for a blockage first. Might have to grab a flashlight and poke around back there.

I'll look again today. Does it look like the drain fitting under the front seat? I'm sure it doesn't have one of those in the locker.
What's directly below the locker? Is it hollow? If I determine that the drain wasn't installed I don't mind drilling a hole and putting a fitting in myself. Just don't want to drill into anything important.2011 SS 188 OB

I'll concede the floor to Nelson on this one, since he knows these boats as well as anyone. I THINK it's just an open hole (no drain cover), but I'm not positive. Will check with Jeremy again to make sure of the best place to drill if needed.

@tone100. I won't be able to get a picture for another week as I'm not going to be near my boat. I'm now second guessing the location whether its similar to the floor drain that you see enter the bilge at the rear of the passenger area (towards the step) or whether its a smaller hole in the bottom of the locker floor pan. In either case, it is located there as each of the last three years, I've emptied and pressure washed the inside of the compartment.
My only concern with drilling back there is the back of the ski locker is right in front of the fuel tank which if you puncture, is a costly repair as you'd have to separate the top cap of the boat from the hull to repair/replace.
Can you easily check to see if there are any openings at the rear and if you're really fortunate, blow some compressed air through them?
The drain in my recollection is molded in the pan, so I don't think its a matter of a missed drill.

I just looked again and don't see anything. The gas tank did cross my mind but that's behind the locker not below it correct? I'd hate to drill into it. Using a cup to bail water out after each use isn't much fun either.
If you could take a picture next time you are on your boat I'd appreciate it.2011 SS 188 OB

@tone100, you are correct. it's behind but in case you drill on an angle at the back, better safe than sorry. So you'll have to keep bailing for now I'll get you a pic of mine this weekend if I make it to the lake.

Last resort is I can drag it 100 miles to the nearest dealer and make them fix it but I'd rather avoid doing that with $3.50 a gallon gas.2011 SS 188 OB

Just wanted to check in and see if you were able to get any more details on where i can drill for the ski locker drain. I don’t see one so it appears that it was forgotten when the bot was built. It’s under warranty so it might be better to let a dealer do it.2011 SS 188 OB

I will give the engineer another nudge on this...

Hey tone100, I haven't forgotten about you. I'm heading to the lake this evening but will post some pics of the ski locker inside on Monday when I'm back near a computer.------------------------------------------------------------------------------2010 Hurricane SS 188 OB

tone100....Here are the pics
In the front, you have two holes (one on each side) that would drain large amounts of water

In the rear, about 6 inches from the rear are two drilled holes about 1/2 inch wide for rear drainage
