Under Sink Storage

On my SS188 the door access the storage under the sink in tiny. I was considering cutting the fiberglass and installing a door close to the size of the one under the helm. The current door is so small that you almost can't squeeze a life jacket through. The storage space is huge so I'd like to able to put larger items in it.

Anyone see any issues with me doing this?

    @tone100 ... response from Terri in Hurricane Customer Support: 

    I would have to suggest against this modification.  This would be considered a hull modification and would void the warranty.

    I guess I won't do it then.

    So would cutting out holes for speakers under the front seat void it as well? The same location that they come from the factory if you have the 4 speaker option?
