My ski post on my sd 2000 is stuck down..I cannot budge it. My local dealer was not to interested in helping. Any ideas?

I had the same problem when I bought my SD2000. The dealer had to order the whole new assembly and install.

So I took the post out and it turns out that the lower bushing was too big. I took it apart and sanded it down..post works great.

bigbuka1, What's involved in getting the ski pole out? simple job or does it require dealer involvement?

I have the answer to my question above. Replacement of the retractable ski pole is done by simply removing the screws from the collar, pulling out the old, dropping in the new and putting the screws back in place. A 10 minute job.

Where did you get the replacement?...I had to pull mine a couple times to make adjustments...
