Trailer Setup

I'm now seriously looking at buying a trailer for a 2000 FD 201 (20Ft 1In) deck boat. My question is ; 

What is the recommended trailer type (Float on or Roller) and is there a specific "Setup" that I need to have. 

I'm boating on the southwest coast of Florida in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
