I have a 1996 Fundeck 196 and just broke through the plastic hatch in the center of the deck. Anyone know of a boat junkyard where I could get a replacement hatch?

I'll post a copy of a previous reply that might help your situation, just in case you didn't see it in the other thread:You may want to look into a product called King StarBoard. It is a polymer based product, perfect for the marine environment. It's available in a variety of thicknesses, sheet sizes and surface treatment (non-skid vs. smooth). It's not the least expensive solution, but it would be a very strong permanent one. The material can be worked using the same tools you use for woodworking. If you're handy it should be pretty easy to work with, if not, any woodworker or marine outfitter can do this. You may be able to use the existing hardware as well. Many of the doors on my current boat are made of this material. It's great stuff. Here's some links:King's Website

A couple of buying sources, there's probably more:

Hope this helps on the hatch.
