Sony stereo stuck on demo mode

My 203 ob came with a Sony cdx-m30 stereo and it is stuck in demo mode. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it. Tried the reset button behind the faceplate with no luck.

    Sony suggested pushing the reset button behind the faceplate for 10 seconds. Unfortunately that didn't help. My dealer is ordering me a replacement stereo. He said this is the second time he's seen this.

    Got it...glad they're taking care of this. I'm putting this issue in the hands of the folks who order the Sony units.

    Update... the replacement Sony cdx-m30 stereo received late July has now gone completely dead... on to stereo #3 in 6 months. Wish I could get a less problematic model of stereo as a replacement.

    If you didn't try turning the "Demo Mode" off using the method from Sony's owners manual, before the unit broke completely (I figure you probably did, that's why you were hitting the reset button), I'm posting the page that references this for others as well.
