2003 237SD - ski locker / deck hatch

Hello - had a great time boating this weekend except for one mishap.  A cooler was dropped on the ski locker hatch door and broke it into about 10 pieces.  Is this hatch door still available of does someone have any suggestions?

Door is 19" x 32" with radius corners.  Facing bow, hinge is inset approx. 1/8" on right.  Latch is in the middle of the door on left.

Help?

@jdm ... we'll have to track that part via your boat's Hull ID number? Any chance you have that handy?

@jdm ... these exact hatches are no longer available. Contact your local dealer for the current replacement options.

Would it be possible to get a drawing / print for this door?  As I mentioned, the door broke into multiple pieces and is difficult to piece back together.

While the Captain is checking for you, I thought I would give you a suggestion on your hatch issue.

You may want to look into a product called King StarBoard.  It is a polymer based product, perfect for the marine environment.  It's available in a variety of thicknesses, sheet sizes and surface treatment (non-skid vs. smooth).  It's not the least expensive solution, but it would be a very strong permanent one.  The material can be worked using the same tools you use for woodworking.  If you're handy it should be pretty easy to work with, if not, any woodworker or marine outfitter can do this.  You may be able to use the existing hardware as well.  Many of the doors on my current boat are made of this material.  It's great stuff.  Here's some links:

Had same problem  with lid and the good folks at the Hurricane Dealership in Naples Fl had no suggestions at all (except to BUY a new boat)    I did use King's Star board and it came out great!  PLUS   I sent them a template and they cut to perfection.....cost me about $120 all said and done.....they were great!  By the way, I got their link from cjjjdeck and thank him every day I take the boat out!  problem solved!  Good luck!
