Live well and sprayer on sink

Rex

I have a 2006 SF 217 and cannot get the water to drain out of my live well. Have taken a hose and tried to force anything that might be stopping it up out but it does not give at all.  Where does the live well drain out of the boat at?  Any suggestions on fixing?

Also the sprayer on the sink does not work and any help to trouble shoot that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rex

Livewell should have a drain hose that extends to stern of the boat where it exits.

Have you tried a bit of compressed air to see if its blocked?  It may also have a kink or bend it it that has a high point in the hose, preventing it from draining.

unfortunately these are installed prior to the hull cap being installed at the factory and are not the easiest to access or trace.

Is the brass plug on the back of the boat for the live well drain?

Rex, I'm trying to remember from memory but I'm certain yes that is the drain.

Regarding your sprayer, I would first verify that the fresh water pump is running when you turn on the switch.

If your boat is an outboard model you can open the round access ports at the stern of the boat and see the intake and drain lines for the livewell.  The drain line has a valve that must be in the open position for it to drain.
