Need some replacement engine vent covers (see picture) for a 2008 SD237. Was curious if anyone knows of a good aftermarket to use.  Holes measure 3.25" across and my dealer cant seem to find any "in the book"...  Thanks!

I have the same boat as you and I just replaced my vents.  The vents you have are manufactured by ITC Marine.  The vents that Hurricane installs on our model is made of chrome plated plastic, which I have had a problem of cracking and breaking every so often.  I found on ITC's website that they also make a stainless steel clad version, which I thought might hold up better than the originals, so I bought a bunch to replace all my vent covers with the stainless model.  I got them on Amazon, here's the link:

Bonus question :) ...I am also missing one of the drain covers, want to go two for two?

Now that's an interesting question.  My boat didn't come with deck drain covers (if deck drains are what you're talking about).

The only drain covers I do have on my boat was in the galley and head sinks.

I am looking to replace 4 of these vents on my SS 188.  3 of  them are already broken.  I fish alot from the rear swim platform area and I occasionally stepped on them with the heel of my shoe.   That was enough to break the stock plastic ones.  The ITC ones look good.  Any trick to installing them?

How did you get the ITC vents out? Do they just snap in?

Yes the ITC vent grills used on I/O Hurricane models snap in and out.  I just replaced my chrome plated plastic ones with a stainless steel clad model ITC offers.  They don't have as high a dome on them, but I'm hoping that they should not break as easily as the all plastic models.

    I got them on Amazon:

The white pvc grills turn yellow from the UV exposure. That's why I'd like to replace them with stainless steel vents.

I've noticed that white speaker grills often do the same thing.
