Faria depth sensor

just purchased a 2015 ss188. The Faria depth gauge isn’t working correctly. TheFaria tech support guy told me to check the oil under. I don’t where it is or how to get it? Any help.

The transducer is usually mounted inside the bilge on the bottom near the bilge pump and shoots through the hull. Some look like a small hockey puck. There are also transom mounted transducers that mount externally at the bottom of the transom but it's more likely a thru-hull transducer.

I know there is a Faria acoustic depth sounder somewhere on the hull. I looked through all the access covers but can’t find it. Does anyone have any idea where Hurricane may have installed it on a SS188?

Getting down to the bilge area is extreamly hard we an old guy like me. I’ll need to do that the next time it’s on the trailer
