The base of the ski bar is fastened down closer to the deck.  The question around will it pull a 200lb slalom skier, I can attest that it will as I've pulled a 225lb skier many times on my SS188.  For wakeboarding, skiing, etc its fine, but should never be used for tubes/towables.

Is this the same for removing the ski pole from a 2006 SD 237?

Hi, I have a 2013 SD 187OB and my tow bar came loose.  How do I remove the back seat cushion's back rests to get to the access port to re fasten the tow bar (as mentioned in teh May 2013 post above)?  It seems like it's all glued to the boat and I don't want to force it off and cause more of an issue.  Thanks in advance for any advice!

jlake-did you ever figure the tow bar issue out?  We have the exact same issue, where I do not want to try and remove the stern cushion to fix the tow bar and make things worse.  I think our Marina tried to remove it to shrink wrap and winterize and never got it back on right.

Pull the lower seat cushion out and you can get a better look at the screws holding the back in place. Remove those and it will lift straight up.

Is the back seat removal the same for a 2005 Fun Deck 202 GS?  I've been squeezing down into the battery compartment and the opening on the port side but am getting ready to replace the spark plugs and would love to have better access all around.
