oh first time with smart tabs and i have set in the # hole setting

yamaha recommends ringfree the entire ownership of the motor its tad pricy but u don't need a lot 2 ounces to start off then one once per ten gallons

Which hole#? I am in second from the end(furthest from the boat)dalouie2 said:oh first time with smart tabs and i have set in the # hole setting -

I have Fundeck 187 with Yamaha 115 and have similar issues with planing. Boat ran great in Florida (salt water ; no bottom paint) but when we moved to Montana, performance dropped significantly to the point it will not plane with 6 adults.
Installed trim tabs but no real noticeable difference.
Would any of the following make a difference?
- change from salt water to fresh water
- increase in altitude from sea level to 3000 feet
Currently running Yamaha prop with 16 K marked on it. I assume this is their K series prop at 16 pitch. I believe size is 13-1/3". Would a different prop help?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
