Where is the best location on a 2019 model 217 sundeck to install 3 trolling motor batteries ?

I am installing a Minn Kota Terrova 112 thrust trolling motor on the bow. The 36 volt system requires 3, 12-volt batteries and a charger. The batteries weigh 70 lbs each. I am considering placing the system in one of the bow storage compartments below the seat or using the large center storage area. What do you think is the best option.

Both are good location, either choice is better than putting all that weight in the stern which can have an negative effect on performance. Balancing the weight as best you can should be your goal.
Putting them in one of the front seat storage areas will work well as long as the opposite seat storage area has weight to help compensate.
Mounting them in the center storage area (ski locker) gives you the most even balance and no weight compensation necessary.
Although you probably know this, I'll say it anyway, make sure you fabricate something or use battery boxes to protect the terminals and keep them isolated from other things you might put in the same storage area.2012 SD237 I/O Mercruiser 5.0L MPI ECT/ Bravo 32012 Load Rite Elite Tandem axle trailer
