I need to replace my fuel sender and I am going to switch to a reed switch type versus float arm style. Before I lay on the deck and work through the 6" inspection port (as I have done many time over the years) I was hoping someone else might have this measurement. The tank capacity is 52 gallons, just need the depth at the sender location. Thanks in advance!

I think you will need to reach out to the fuel tank supplier for this information

Well, instead of reaching out I just pulled the fuel sender and the 52 gallon tank measures 10 inches from inside bottom to outside top edge. Finding a 9 inch reed switch sending unit (tank depth minus 1 inch) is another story. I decided to install an 8 1/2" sender which basically allows me an inch and a half "reserve by default.
