New to us 2001 232 GS!

Super excited to buy our very first boat!!!  

The bones are good- with a strong 5.0 Mercruiser that supposedly gets up to 55, and will cruise 40 all day.

Will need a lot of TLC, polishing and upholstery.   Latter 2 are scheduled for next week.   

Wondering about BBQ setups (we will be using our Webber Q), Solar for battery maintenance and use while on the lake, refrigerator?charging options for phones, faucet/wash down setups, wakeboard towers, possible double Bimini setups and engine upgrades!!!

    Thanks!  I'd love to see more of your boat as well- your head/cabin update looks amazing!!!  Have you done any gelcoat repairs on yours?  I have a few spider cracks and dings that I'd like to fill, but doesn't look like Spectrum sells a repair kit for our color (Grey Pearl/Off-White) and I'd hate to buy a quart of it.

    This is encouraging- had a buddy hit a small spot with his polisher.  Took out scuffs and calcified water line back to a mirror shine!!!  Now just have to finish the rest of the boat!!!

    Yeah could use some gelcoat LMK if you find the color, it's off white, not pure white. I removed the decals, wet sanded with 500, and then 1000. About to polish it up. That pinstripe there is also a decal. Mine is similarly torn up, plan to replace it.

    Spectrum has the gel coat called grey pearl but only in quart/gallon size

    Let’s see some pics!!!  Also would like to compare gel coat repairs.  I think the gel coat is standard across all Hurricanes from 1998-2003
