What does "Severity: H" actually mean? Also, does anyone have a photo of the recall work that was done with the access panel?

I had my dealer install the flotation kit. Unlike some other owners, there are no additional holes drilled into my boat. No additional holes by the transom ladder as described by other owners. Could the foam have been injected through the cupholders?

So dumb question from a newbie.  Flotation foam would help slow sinking in case of a hull rupture - but would it not add weight and actually reduce buoyancy?  Isn't that why we have life jackets and insurance?  Not sure I follow the logic here or am I missing something
